Notice

Please have the following documents on hand to successfully complete the ECTN certification.

Bill of Lading: Document issued by the carrier to acknowledge receipt of cargo for shipment.
Freight Invoice: An invoice that shows the cost of transporting the goods to Somaliland.
Commercial Invoice: An invoice showing all relevant details of the goods being shipped, including the total value.

Not needed for most ECTN cases, but SPA may occasionally request further documentation depending on shipment origin such as:

Packing List: A list showing details like the contents, weight, and dimensions of the shipment.
Export Customs Document: to show that the goods have been cleared for export by source jurisdiction.
Certificate of Origin: depending on source country and type of goods.
